A Cozy Lunch Gem in Cornelia: Farmhouse Poundcakes & Café

A Review by Geri Campbell

About the Restaurant

Poundcakes from Farmhouse Poundcakes

Farmhouse Poundcakes & Café in downtown Cornelia is best known for its wide variety of signature poundcakes, but the café’s lunch menu is a hidden gem. The space is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Owner Ellen Dawe’s menu is inspired by recipes and flavors from her travels to Scotland, resulting in thoughtfully crafted soups, sandwiches, and salads with unique and unexpected flavor combinations.

What I Ordered

I enjoyed the homemade Pea Soup and the Autumn Salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The soup was rich and comforting, while the salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail.
